Many of you in the last few emotionally turbulent days are facing resistance and hostility to being a truth speaker. It’s even causing you to lose a few of your Facebook and online “friends.”
The thing about speaking the truth is, it offends and unsettles those who either want to live within the comforts of the lie or enjoy the privileges they have over you when you embrace the lie. The truth is the key that unlocks the oppressor’s shackles and handcuffs–even our own.
Jesus was on point when he said the truth will make you free. The fine print is however, everyone doesn’t want you to be free. Satan surely doesn’t want you to be free. Many want you to be in bondage like they are or prosper from the lies they have set forth for you to believe. When you know and speak the truth, you upset and destroy the riches and benefits that come with delusion. As a result, you shall surely be met with anger and hostility…as if they’re the victims.
Don’t fear speaking your truth. Don’t fear speaking THE truth. Only fear what will happen when you willfully lie (to others or yourself) or embrace lies others tell you. The truth is freedom!
